Space Day Fun

Hi everyone,

It's me Lovable Lola ! Did you know that today April 12th is the International day of Human Space Flight? April 12th 1961 was the date of the first human space flight, carried out by Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet citizen. That special historic event opened up the way for everyone around the world to explore space ! Do you know the name of the American Space Program? Did you guess NASA? If you did , you rock!!!! Nasa Stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration and was started in 1958 as a part of the United States government. Did you know that NASA is in charge of U.S. science and technology that has to do with airplanes or space? How awesome it that? Are you interested in some more fun facts on space? Check out this LINK for NASA's kid friendly Website! To celebrate today I have a fun Coloring page for you to do!
