Did you know Father's Day is coming up this Sunday? I love celebrating our Parents ! Today , I have some fun crafts and recipes to share with you!
The first thing I have is a Craft. If you haven't made your Dad a card I have just the trick! All you have to do is print this Image on Cardstock or regular computer paper and you can make your very own Father's Day card for the special guy in your family.
Next I have a Yummy Recipe to share ! Do you love cookies? Does your Dad love cookies? Well look no further I have a scrumptious Cookie Cake Recipe that you can make! Don't forget always have adult supervision and approval when trying any new recipes or projects.
First we need to collect all the ingredients:
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2 stills of butter (softened)
3/4 cups of brown sugar (packed)
3/4 cups of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 Large egg and 1 egg yolk
1 package of chocolate chips ( semisweet 12-oz. package)
Directions
1- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2-Mix the first 3 ingredients (flour, baking soda,salt) together in a medium bowl
3-Beat both sugars and vanilla extract together in a separate mixing bowl until creamy
4-Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
5-Gradually beat in the flour mixture
6-Stir in chocolate chips
7-Grease a 15x10-inch pan of your choice
8-Spread the dough into the greased pan
9- Bake for 20 Minutes or until golden brown
10-Cool pan on cooling rack
11-Decorate as Desired
