Lola Goes For A Walk to celebrate the first Day of summer !

We just love the summer time ! Munchkin man and I love to go on long walks, play with our friends outside and go swimming in the swimming pool!

Father's Day is this Sunday!

Hi friends!
Did you know Father's Day is coming up this Sunday? I love celebrating our Parents ! Today , I have some fun crafts and recipes to share with you!

The first thing I have is a Craft. If you haven't made your Dad a card I have just the trick! All you have to do is print this Image on Cardstock or regular computer paper and you can make your very own Father's Day card for the special guy in your family.

Next I have a Yummy Recipe to share ! Do you love cookies? Does your Dad love cookies? Well look no further I have a scrumptious Cookie Cake Recipe that you can make! Don't forget always have adult supervision and approval when trying any new recipes or projects. 

First we need to collect all the ingredients: 

2 1/4 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1 teaspoon of salt

2 stills of butter (softened)

3/4 cups of brown sugar (packed) 

3/4 cups of granulated sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 Large egg and 1 egg yolk

1 package of chocolate chips ( semisweet 12-oz. package)

Directions

1- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2-Mix the first 3 ingredients (flour, baking soda,salt) together in a medium bowl

3-Beat both sugars and vanilla extract together in a separate mixing bowl until creamy

4-Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition

5-Gradually beat in the flour mixture 

6-Stir in chocolate chips 

7-Grease a 15x10-inch pan of your choice

8-Spread the dough into the greased pan

9- Bake for 20 Minutes or until golden brown

10-Cool pan on cooling rack

11-Decorate as Desired

Family Day

Family Day is right around the corner. I love spending time with my brother Munchkin Man, we always have so much fun together. Here are some of our favorite things to do that you can do too! Also here are some of our new Sing-Along videos from our brand new album "Songs to Love"

Did you know that it is Teacher's Appreciations Week? Today we have a very easy recipe for Miniature Candy Apples. All you need is : A few green apples, small ice cream scooper and some caramel and candied chocolate!

Mother's Day is coming Soon!

Hi Everyone,

Did you know that Mother's Day is just around the corner? I know you must love your Mom a whole bunch, so I made a special Card Template just for you! All you need is a printer some white cardstock  and scissors. If you want to get creative you might want some glitter and markers too.

All you have to do is:

1) Cut along the dotted lines and fold that piece of paper in half

2) Decorate the front by cutting out your favorite Lola images. 

3) Add any glitter or rhinestones as you like 

4) Don't forget to add a custom message for you mom on the inside !

5) Hide in a safe place until Mothers day then surprise her with your card.

It's me Lovable Lola ! Did you know that today April 12th is the International day of Human Space Flight? April 12th 1961 was the date of the first human space flight, carried out by Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet citizen. That special historic event opened up the way for everyone around the world to explore space ! Do you know the name of the American Space Program? Did you guess NASA? If you did , you rock!!!! Nasa Stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration and was started in 1958 as a part of the United States government. Did you know that NASA is in charge of U.S. science and technology that has to do with airplanes or space? How awesome it that? Are you interested in some more fun facts on space? Lola's Mini Krispie Treats

Today, I have a really yummy snack to share and it is really easy to make. So hurry up and grab your guardian so you can get started!

Lola's Easter Cake Pops

Hello everyone,
It's me Loveable Lola. Today I have a delicious treat for you, Chocolate Easter Cake Pops! So hurry up and show your guardian this fun treat so they can help you make them! Remember when cooking it's very important to have adult supervision.

Ingredients: 

1 Box of Pilsbury Chocolate Cake Mix

1/2 of Pilsbury Chocolate Frosting container

2 Eggs

1 Cup of Water

1/2 of Oil 

Non stick spray

Various Color of Candy Melts

Decorative Sprinkles of your choice

Cake Pop Sticks (24 ct)

Directions: 

Mix the cake mix with eggs, water and oil. Once the batter is an even consistency pour into a non stick round cake pan. Be sure to coat it in some non stick spray. Bake for 30 Minutes or until center is fully cooked at 350 Degrees. Let the cake cool for an hour and then crumble it. Yes ! you heard me right, you are going to crumble your cake into super fine pieces. Make sure there are no clumps. 

Now once it is evenly crumbled mix in half the tub of chocolate frosting and mix with your hands. Grab tablespoon sized clumps and form into a circle like you would a meatball. (Should make 25-30 balls) Once rolled put on parchment lined tray and put in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

 Now pour half a cup of candy melts in a microwavable cup and heat for 30 seconds. Remove and stir, put back in for 20 seconds and now it should melt completely when stirring. Dip cake pop stick 1 inch into melted candy and then stick into chosen ball. Now you are ready to dip the chocolate pop into the candy give it a swirl and make sure it is evenly coated and quickly add your sprinkles before the candy dries. Continue with all the cake balls and then you can put them in a cup or a cute mason jar like me! 

Puppy Treats

Happy National Puppy Day Everyone! Today I want to share one of my very favorite treat recipes. Pumpkin Peanut Oat Treats

Before we start make sure you gather these

 Ingredients: 

1/2 Can of Pumpkin Puree, 1 1/2 Cups Brown Rice Flour, 1/4 Cup Rolled Oats, 2 Eggs, 1 tablespoon of Peanut Butter

Directions: 

1) Mix all Ingredients in a Medium Bowl ( minus one egg yolk) and gently mix with a fork. 

2) Once the Ingredients are mixed Take your Dough and put it in the refrigerator for 5 Minutes.

3) Remove the Dough and roll it out on a non stick mat to the desired thickness

4) Using your favorite shaped cookie cutter cut out treat shapes 

5) Using a spatular, transfer the treats to a lined baking sheet (we used parchment paper, aluminum foil works too).

6) Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit

7) Bake Treats for 8-15 Minutes be sure to monitor your treats because some stoves are stronger than others. If you want a soft treat cook for 5-10 minutes

8) Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes. 

Hey kids Do you want to try this treat? Just have your guardian separate a little bit of the dough and add in 3-4 Teaspoons of Cane sugar and cook for 15 Minutes and you have a delicious and healthy snack!

Make a Leprechaun Hat for St. Patrick's Day

Do you want to make your very own Leprechaun hat? All you have to do is print this template out and get ready to have some fun!

All you have to do is print out the hat template below and carefully cut each piece out. Remember you can add glitter just like me or make it extra special however you like ! Always be very careful and have adult supervision when using scissors. When your done, you can even add some elastic band and wear it as a hat!
